The Minor PeeWee Falcons are ready for playoffs with a midseason training camp held at Coach Whittard's house. The falcons worked hard on puck possession skills while having a great time.
Yesterday, under perfect weather conditions, the Falcons celebrated the outdoor game with a training camp on an outdoor rink. Dressed for the sunny and brisk conditions, the Falcons took part in a pregame skate while the goalies prepared in Coach Whittard's living room. Upon the arrival of the goalies from the warm confines of the house and NHL On The Fly booming through the Whittard house, the skaters were eager to challenge.
A spirited modified game of 2 v 2 broke out with mini games up to 5. The game included modifications such as the Helmet drop faceoff, shinny goal scoring (no lengthy shots, dangle only) etc. The falcons enjoyed a close checking affair finishing with a score of 2 games to 1. Congrats to the Falcons on a great afternoon concluded with Tim's Hot Chocolate, 100 timbits and some Xbox coupled with ministicks and a slamdunk competition.
