SKILLS TAUGHT· Skating skills is the primary focus e.g. proper striding/stopping/turning/edge control.· Other hockey skills are also taught e.g. puck handling/shooting/passing etc.

F.A.Q.’S
Q. Is the Tyke Initiation Program “Rep” Hockey?
A. No. Rep hockey does not start until Tyke (age 7). Our program is a skills development program, in preparation for "Rep" hockey in the next year or so. You are not registering with GCMHA, it is a supplemental hockey school.
Q. Are there ‘tryouts’?
A. Not per se. Players must have at least basic skating skills, as this is not a ‘learn-to-skate’ program.
Child must also be mentally and emotionally mature enough to handle an intense program (for age)
