Playoff Game 2 vs. Glanbrook
Submitted By Danny Amodeo on Sat 02 25, 17
A back and forth game lead to a 2-2 tie vs. the # 1 seed Glanbrook....

What a game tonight!!! After a good start to the game, Eric was able to score late in the first to get the Falcons out to a 1-0 lead. The Falcons continued their strong play in the second period, however after questionable goal against, the Rangers were able to tie the game at 1. The Rangers continued their strong play in the second period, however the Falcons were able to make some adjustments mid game to limit quality Ranger chances.
The Falcons entered the third period tied at 1. The Rangers applied strong pressure early in the third period, however the Falcons did not break. We continued our strong play, however fell behind 2-1 late in the third period as the Rangers scored a goal off a strong rush. However, with less than 20 seconds on the clock, Eric was able to win a face-off in the offensive zone, and after a quick scramble, Myles was able to chip the puck into the back of the net to earn the Falcons a hard fought 2-2 tie.

Everyone stepped up their game tonight, as this was a complete team game. Big games from both of our goalies especially, Ben A for shutting down big #77 down (same with Carter D), and Eric who had a solid two way game tonight. Our defensive group played extremely well, not panicking and turning the puck over, instead battling hard and making good first passes.
