Submitted By Danny Amodeo on Mon 03 06, 17
The Falcons travelled to Lincoln, playing the only NDHL team they haven't beat all season, in a win or go home game....

Boy the did the Falcons show up to play tonight. Everyone had a strong game for the Falcons, as they were able to dominate the game from the drop of the puck.

The Faloncs jumped to a 12-3 shot advantage in the first period, leading 1-0 after 1. The 2nd period started with the  Falcons scoring 4 more goals, taking a 5-0 lead. The Falcons had a slight mix up, playing a few minutes out of our system, allowing Lincoln to climb back to 5-2. However, the Falcons recovered and scored 3 more goals to win 8-2.

This was a complete team win, as everyone stepped up and played strong tonight. Contributions from everyone occurred tonight, as everyone put forth a solid effort in order to get the much needed victory.

With the victory, the Falcons now move on to face Glanbrook in the NDHL A Division Championship series.
