Falcons Soar!
A fantastic season ended with the Falcons going undefeated in the District playoffs and finishing it off with a definitive final game over the Welland tigers in Welland!! Not enough can be said for the resilience of this team to battle back from a tough defeat and missing out on OMHA playoffs after a highly successful regular season that saw them top the league standings.
They came into the district playoffs ready and focused and proceeded to knock off all comers without a loss en route to a District Championship!!
I would like to take the time to say thank you to a fantastic coaching staff that kept the ship together with injury and suspensions abound during the playoff run. And huge thank you to Tracey and all the parents that got involved to ensure a great year for the boys. I hope all the boys have taken something positive from this season besides winning the championship, as I personally saw a great group that stood up for one another and created a team atmosphere that they should be proud of being a part of. Great Year Falcons!!
