Falcons Open Playoffs With A Win
Thursday night the Falcons started the 2018 Playoffs on the road in Guelph and came up with a solid team effort in a 7-5 win over the Gryphons.

The Falcons got on the board early, scoring only 18 seconds into what would turn out to be an exciting back-and-forth game.  They lead after the first period and fell behind in the second, but the team showed good resiliency and would regain the lead for good.

Goaltender Cohen Corbett played a solid game in net keeping the Falcons in the game and in chipped in offensively with an assist.  The Gryphons scored two of their goals on the powerplay and the Falcons defence played a strong game led by "Player of the Game" Dylan Rawson.

Offensively, Rhys McAdam had great night with a goal and two assists.  Alexander Thai scored two goals and collected an assist, while Alex Caiazza also had two goals.  Aidan Johnson and Simon Sciarra also chipped in with goals and additional assist went to Luca Mucciarelli, Malik Moore (2), Patrick O'Farrell, Jaxon Mosher and Chad Canter.

The Falcons try to make it two playoff wins in a row on Tuesday night when they host the Burlington Eagles 7PM at Bill Burgoyne Arena.
