The Falcons needed a big effort last night vs. Brampton and boy did they show up ready to play. An aggressive forecheck and even more aggressive blue line play lead to the Falcons having an offensive on slot, scoring 7 times. Leading the way was the Brandon-Quin-Evan line, who combined had 14 points between them, scoring twice on the power play and twice off of offensive zone face-offs. Nathan DiP and Qasim would also score. The Falcons for the most part stayed out of the crap that Brampton was throwing at us in this game as well, as we head our cool for the most part.

The Falcons played the majority of the game on the power play, as a very undisciplined Brampton team was short handed for a large part of the game. The Falcons played extremely well today, moving the puck around and battling hard throughout the game. An excellent back check and strong play in all three zones were keys to our victory today, as working hard in all three zones lead to Brampton only having 10 shots on goal.
What the coaches were the most proud of was how despite the poor behaviour from Brampton, our team only committed one penalty throughout the entire game!!! Our kids walked away from trouble, and focused on beating Brampton on the score board, which was great to see.
