Teamwork makes the Team Work
In their first regular season game of the season the Falcon Minor Bantam A's showed how Teamwork makes the Team Work as they played their most unselfish game so far and walked away with a convincing 5-0 victory over the Pelham Panther AE Team.
The Falcons were extremely stingy in their own end allowing only 7 total shots on net by Pelham and 0 in the first period. Ben Brendzy was solid in goal for the Falcons even though the shots against were low. The Falcons fired 51 shots at the Pelham goalie.
All players kept their feet moving and as a result recovered most loose pucks. Puck movement between forwards and defence resulted in two goals from the point and one more from a rebound off a point shot. One goal was for the Falcons was a Power Play marker while the Falcon's Penalty Kill continued it's success killing off all three short handed situations.
