INFORMATION REGARDING BENCH STAFF REQUIREMENTS FOR U12 TO U18 CAN BE FOUND BELOW
EACH COACHING STAFF MUST HAVE CERTIFICATION, RESPECT IN SPORT ACTIVITY LEADER/SPEAKOUT/SHIFT FORWARD, GENDER IDENTITY CLINIC, VSC/OHF DECLARATION:

ROSTER CONFIGURATION
1. Heach Coach - Mandatory
2. Trainer - Mandatory
3. Assistant Coach / Assistant Trainer
4. Assistant Coach / Assistant Trainer
5. Assistant Coach / Assistant Trainer

Manager - Is not on the Team roster and not to be on bench.

Development 1 Certified (Head Coach) Development 1 Trained (Asst Coach)
Respect In Sport Activity Leader / Speak Out / Shift Forward
Gender Identity Clinic
VSC / OHF Declaration to OHF
Register as Bench Staff on the HCR
Complete and sign the OHF Team Commitment form

HTCP (Hockey Trainers Certification Program) LEVEL 1 OR NEW HCSP (Hockey Canada Safety Program)

Register as Bench Staff on the HCR
Complete and sign the OHF Team Commitment form

POLICE CLEARANCE & CRIMINAL OFFENSE DECLARATION - VSC
Every Volunteer MUST have a Vulnerable Sector Check Police Clearance completed and submitted to OHF in order to volunteer with Garden City Falcons. Vulnerable Sector Checks are good for three (3) years. The ORIGINAL copy MUST be submitted to the OHF Screening Submission Portal by Clicking Here: https://ohf.on.ca/risk-management/vulnerable-sector-checks-vsc/

There are 3 things you need to complete.

Complete your D1 post task work book.

Take the making ethical decisions web course, MED
Fill out a D1 field evaluation requests.
