It is with a Heavy and Broken Heart that we announce the passing of one of our own. Jim Liddiard was a good man and a Great supporter of the Merritton Athletic Association. Jimmy has been both a past President and Present President of the MAA, He was the Current Head Coach of the Bantam Hockey Team. He was a Proud Resident of Merritton! A Pillar of the community, a volunteer who gave so much of his time for others. He was a husband, a Father, a Grandfather and a Friend. Our prayers and condolences go out to the Family! May you rest in Peace Coach Jim! You will be missed and remembered always. ...

Please come out this Labour Day weekend and support the The Lions Club of Merritton at their Community Days Festival. Events begin Fri. Sept. 1st and run all weekend concluding with the annual raffle draws at 5:00 pm Sun Sept. 4th. The GCM-Merritton Bulldogs will be at our pizza booth all weekend and helping at the dance Fri. at 8:00 pm. Event links below:

February 16th the GCM-Bulldogs Bantam and Peewee Teams will be hosting the WSC Warriors from Philadelphia, PA. The two teams will be participating in the 53rd annual exchanged between the Wissahickon Skating Club and the Merritton Athletic Associations GCM-Bulldogs.

Sat Sept. 10 The Bulldogs AE Teams be holding a bottle drive fundraiser. Bottle collection will start at Merritton Arena at 9 am.

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) has launched a video series under the ‘Respect in Hockey’ campaign to re-emphasize the importance of core OMHA values. By committing to fairness, integrity and mutual respect, these standards will continue to be held in the highest regard.    CLICK HERE
