NEW FOR 2024-2025 SEASON:
No coach / trainer / manager / assistant coach / on ice helper / at large coach or trainer will be approved to be on the ice or a roster until a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) has been submitted through the OHF Portal (starting April 1st) and approved by them. They are not to be dropped off at the GCMHA Office.

Vulnerable Sector Checks are not to be dropped off at the GCMHA office going forward.
Here is what you need to do for your VSC (vulnerable sector check) and the OHF:
- Second step - apply online for your VSC = you'll need a credit card and make sure you keep a copy of the receipt that is emailed to you so you can upload it to the OHF portal until you receive the actual approved VSC in the mail. https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/services/niagara/ You'll also need to upload the form you completed on the first step.
When you get the OHF Invoice by email click on the link OHF Screening Submission Portal at the bottom of the invoice in blue.
When you get to the first few questions where it says Documents - DO NOT CLICK ON THAT, CLICK ON NEXT. Eventually you will get to a screen where it asks if you are submitting a VSC or a Recipt - Click on which one you are submitting and just above that you will see a link to lick on (another window will open) and that is where you will upload your file(s) then once files are uploaded it will state they have been submitted then you go back to the other screen.

Once you receive your VSC in the mail you will need to upload that also to be approved for the season. The receipt only puts your status to Pending until your VSC is uploaded then you move to Complete Status. Go back to your invoice you received by email originally and click on
OHF Screening Submission Portal near the bottom of the invoice

If you have a VSC that was made out for Garden City MHA that is not older than Aug 2022 you do not need a new VSC for this season. You just need to do the Third & Fourth step and also upload a copy of it into the OHF portal.
