St. Catharines Minor Hockey School is committed to providing opportunities for the development of hockey skills.

SCMHS was started by Vic Teal, Jimmy Joy and Ashton Morrison in 1956, and has become a St. Catharines institution for almost 60 years. We are pleased to be a strategic partner with GCMHA since 2013.

We offer a continual intake

HOCKEY PROGRAM

13 on ice sessions

Skating, Stick Handling, Passing, Shooting

Age 4+ in separate groups, based on skill

Small Area Games (SAG) focused

GOALIE PROGRAM
12 on ice sessions
Develop skating, work on angles and pad, blocker and glove saves

ST. CATHARINES MINOR HOCKEY SCHOOL Since 1956 St. Catharines Minor Hockey School is committed to providing opportunities for the development of fundamental skills for young players. SCMHS was started by Vic Teal, Jimmy Joy and Ashton Morrison in 1956, and has become a St. Catharines institution for 58 years. First enrollment was 200, reaching a maximum of 1200 kids from ages 5-12 years old.
