Atom AA, Atom, 2014-2015, AA/A (Garden City Minor Hockey)

As the Major Atoms wrapped up there season last night Keaton Zavitz soared high above the cougars for a five goal night.

The Atom AA Falcons won a hard fought battle over the Wheatfield Blades 3-0 to capture the Vic Teal Championship . Earlier in the round robin Wheatfield blasted the Falcons 7-1. The team never gave up and always believed they could win it .  The Falcons met Wheatfield again in the finals this time shutting them out 3-0 to win the Championship. After being in a few semi finals and loosing a finals game a few weeks ago the team finally won a championship. GREAT JOB TEAM !! You earned it .

Down by 2 goals early in the semi final game the boys stormed back with 5 answered goals to defeat the Glanbrook rangers 5-2 and advance to the finals. This is the second time this year the team has made it to a tournament finals.  Good Luck Boys !!!

The Major Atom AA Falcons advanced for the first time to a championship Tournament finals In Rochester. The Rochester Invitational was a huge success for the team as they played there best hockey of the year. The Falcons came up just short in the finals due to some really bad calls from the refs and a bounce off the ref as well that ended up as Waterloo goals. Loosing 3-1  All in all it was a fun and exciting weekend and a great team effort.
