Home Opener
2 solid periods worth of play was key for the Warriors last night as we opened the season with a 7-5 Win over Niagara Falls. After two periods, the Warriors had a 5-1 lead before allowing Niagara Falls to get back into the game at 5 before the Warriors pulled away with a 7-5 win.
Positives from the game: The Warriors came out and skated hard for the first two periods and were able to overcome a strong third period from the Niagara Falls team. The continued ability to battle through was great to see.
Things to improve on: 1. Not taking our foot off of the gas 2. Not giving the opposition time and space to create offensive chances.
