Regular Season Game 3
After two periods of good hockey, where the Warriors had the overall edge in play and a 2-1 lead, yet another third period of lazy hockey cost the Warriors.
Positives from the game: Good to see the returning Jaden have a goal to kick start our first period. Excellent work through the first two periods, as for the most part, we were clicking on all cylinders. Good overall defensive play in the first two periods, and a half decent aggression level. Good to see a game with 0 penalties during the game.
Things to improve upon: Falling apart in the third period. We gave up 15 shots in the third period, 8 within 2 feet of of our net. This can not happen. Wingers need to remain on their side of the ice, and need to challenge the point man to get the puck out of our zone. Defense need to battle harder in front of our own net, and move their feet in a 1 on 1 battle, rather than use their stick to attempt to slow down the other player.
