Regular Season Game 12
Deserved to win last night...
Before I get into the game, I just want to give a quick hello to a fan Bob Fisher, who enjoys reading the Warrior articles.
The Warriors deserved to win last night, as they fought hard and competed the entire game. However, some timely goals against cost the Warriors, as we fell to Welland 4-2.
Positives from the Game: Great to get offensive production from the new red line, as Cam and Eric both scored. Very nice to see the Warriors compete after falling behind 2-0, tying the game at 2 before two unanswered goals from Welland. Very good effort level from the team the entire night, limited Welland to only 23 shots on goal. (last three games: 20 shots against, 18 shots against, 23 shots against- not too shabby.)
Things to improve on: Once we give up a chance, it usually ends in the back of our net. We need to continue to play hard, but need to play a bit smarter and make the right decision. Also, throwing the puck up the same plugged up area needs to stop. Also, we need not to get down by 2 quickly, however our game was pretty decent last night.
