Regular Season Game 28
Flashes of good play, hidden in a loss to Fort Erie
Despite periods of playing good hockey against the #1 team in the league Fort Erie, the Warriors lost 5-1 earlier this afternoon. The Warriors only gave up 3 shots against in the third period, however it was too little too late as the Warriors trailed 5-1 going into that period. Our penalty kill was a problem tonight, going 0/2. Our forcheck at times was effective, however we lacked the willingness to take the puck from the other team and force turnovers with good physical play. 5-1 is not a real reflection of the game, as the Warriors did play well at times.
