We completely outplayed the Fort Erie team, but 4 mistakes lead to 4 goals against.
We outchanced, out worked, out skated and out shot the #1 team in the league, and lost 4-1. Our issue tonight was a lack of back pressure and a lack of willing to take the puck away from someone breaking through the neutral zone. We need to really step it up in the neutral zone, as it will be the key to our success tomorrow. With more attention to detail, and applied back pressure, we will beat Grimsby tomorrow morning and move on up to the finals tomorrow.
