OMHA playoffs have seen the Falcons play their best hockey of the season. The team has battled, but losing heartbreakers. The Falcons changed all that with a 2-0 win against visiting Warriors. Lukas Goodbrand earned his first shutout as a Falcon with the support of a solid team effort. David Green continued his impressive play this week scoring the game winner on a great pass from Billy Condos. The Falcons took to the road Saturday and made their way to Guelph looking to revenge the overtime loss from the last time they met. The Gryphons were ready and waiting for the Falcons scoring on their first 2 shots of the game. Guelph never looked back squeaking 4 more goals past starting goalie Jimmy Damiano and earning the 6-0 win. The Falcons didn't give up lightly but the "tough luck kids" found many goal posts, but couldn't find the goal to break up the shutout. The Falcons flew to Flamborough to take on the Sabres. The teams battle toe to toe exchanging goals throughout the game. The Falcons put in a solid team effort to take the Sabres to the limit. With minutes left in the game Garden City pulled goalie Lukas Goodbrand to get the extra attacker on, but despite the offensive pressure the Sabres were able to clear the zone and add an empty netter to ensure the 5-3 win. Jimmy Damiano got the start as the Falcons tried to bounce back from a tough OT loss in the previous game. Looking to build on the momentum gained during the Guelph game, the Falcons came out hard looking to take the early lead. The team ended the first period tied with the Warriors, but the Warriors pulled away from the Falcons scoring 2 goals in the second frame. Aidan Johnson scored his second goal of the game in the third period to get the Falcons close, but it wasn't enough as the Falcons hit many posts but couldn't sneak one by the Stoney Creek goalie in a 4-2 loss.

The Falcons took on the top ranked Guelph Gryphons in the first game of the OMHA Play Downs. With the coaches preaching hard work and determination all season, the boys showed this by battling back from several Guelph leads to tie the game with minutes left. Lucas Goodbrand stood tall in the net with the help of a great team defensive effort in front of him. Cameron Abbs came close to netting the OT winner, but the Guelph goalie made a save on the goal line to keep the game tied. With just minutes left in OT, Guelph squeaked in the winner to win 4-3.
