Heartbreaker
Monday night, the Falcons flew into Milton to take on the Winterhawks and looked to win their second game in as many days. They were hungry to gain some ground on the Winterhawks, who sit one position up on the Falcons in the league standings. The Falcons came out swinging as Simon Sciarra would open the scoring for a second game straight with the assist going to Billy Condos. The Falcons would keep attacking but would not be able to beat the Winterhawks goalie, and in the final minutes of the first period the Winterhawks would score 2 quick goals. SECOND PERIOD saw the Winterhawks take a commanding 3-1 lead over the Falcons and controlled the period. THIRD PERIOD was a battle as the Falcons would battle back scoring 2 unanswered goals to tie the game.
The first goal was scored by Luca Mucciarelli and assisted by Hayden Turner, the tying goal was scored by Billy Condos and assisted by Aidan Johnson. Both teams would battle but in the end it would be a late goal scored by the Winterhawks that would be the difference as the Falcons lose a heartbreaker 4-3.
