Falcons Almost Put The Freeze on Orangeville
The Falcons braved the elements as they would go dashing through the snow, all the way to Orangeville for a Sunday afternoon match up with the 2nd place Flyers. The brisk temperature must have woke the Falcons up as they would play their best game of the year. The Flyers would open the scoring as they would get the only goal of the first period, but the Falcons would come back in the second period as they would stun the Flyers with 2 quick goals to take the lead. However the Flyers would again take the lead with 2 goals of their own and go into the break up 3-2.
The third period was played at a breakneck pace as both teams would rush up and down the ice, the Flyers would score an insurance goal and thought they had put this one to bed, but the Falcons had other ideas as they would score just 20 seconds later again moving them to within one.
