Duelling the Sabres
The Falcons flew to Flamborough to take on the Sabres. The teams battle toe to toe exchanging goals throughout the game. The Falcons put in a solid team effort to take the Sabres to the limit. With minutes left in the game Garden City pulled goalie Lukas Goodbrand to get the extra attacker on, but despite the offensive pressure the Sabres were able to clear the zone and add an empty netter to ensure the 5-3 win. The Falcons had three different goal scorers, Luca Mucciarielli, Aidan Johnson and Hayden Turner. Patrick O'Farrell, Simon Scirra and Jaxon Mosher had assists. The Flamborough coaches commented on the grit that the Falcons showed throughout the game.
