Grappling the Gryphons
The Falcons took to the road Saturday and made their way to Guelph looking to revenge the overtime loss from the last time they met. The Gryphons were ready and waiting for the Falcons scoring on their first 2 shots of the game. Guelph never looked back squeaking 4 more goals past starting goalie Jimmy Damiano and earning the 6-0 win. The Falcons didn't give up lightly but the "tough luck kids" found many goal posts, but couldn't find the goal to break up the shutout. This game was a great example of the score not being indicative of the effort from Jimmy and the rest of the players as the team moved the puck well in the losing effort.
