New Covid restrictions for the City of St. Catharines arenas

Per the Letter of Instruction from Niagara Region Public Health, here is how the City of St.Catharines is currently proceeding;



1. A limit for the number of people within a dressing/change room will apply. The limit will be dependent on the facility and will be posted on the door. Permit holders/Customers are expected to adhere to, and help enforce this limit.

2. A time limit within the dressing/change rooms will be applied. Dressing/change rooms will only be available 15 minutes before and after your scheduled rental/program time.

3. Please arrive at the facility ready to participate. Chairs will be made available for those to remain out of high-risk environments.

4. Active Screening through the www.stcatharines.ca/visitorscreening will remain in effect for ANYONE entering the facility.

5.Dressing Rooms/Change Rooms

  • A limit for the number of people within a dressing/change room will apply.
  • The limit will be dependent on the facility and will be posted on the door.
  • Permit holders/Customers are expected to adhere to, and help to enforce this limit.
  • Two dressing rooms will be provided per rental, which is the normal practice.
  • Showers will still be available.

6. Dressing Rooms/Change Room Time Limits

  • Dressing/change rooms will only be available 15 minutes before and after your scheduled rental/program time.
  • You can enter the facility before the 15 minutes, however, your dressing room will only be available 15 minutes before your rental.

7. Entry/Arrival

  • Please do your best to arrive at the facility ready to participate.
  • Chairs will be made available for those to remain out of high-risk environments.
  • Active Screening through the www.stcatharines.ca/visitorscreening will remain in effect for ANYONE entering the facility.
  • Please be kind to the front-line staff!

8. Tournaments

  • Can still run, just be mindful of participants in high risk areas.
  • Limit to 15 mins in dressing rooms before and after. Do warm ups outside.
