GCMHA Merritton Bulldogs hosting Wissahickon

On February 12 through February 15th 2015 the GCMHA Merritton Bulldogs Pee Wee and Bantam Teams will host the Wissahickon Skating Club Warriors for the 51st Annual Hockey Exchange between these two Hockey Organizations. For 51 years without interruption the organizations has taken turns hosting the players of the visiting organization in their homes for a weekend of Hockey Events. It is understood to be the longest uninterrupted exchange of its type in international competition. The Weekend is full of activity. 

The Players and their families arrive on Thursday February 12, that evening the players compete in a Skills competition. Pee Wee skills competition is at 7pm and the Bantam Skills competition is at 8:30pm. On the Friday the Players visit the Hockey Hall of Fame. On Friday night at 7:00pm the Pee Wee teams participate in an Exhibition game. The Bantams will play at 8:20. At 9:40pm An Alumni game is played between WSC and MAA veterans of the Exchange. Saturday Morning sees the Pee Wee Championship at 9am and the Bantam Championship game goes at 10:30am. The official conclusion to the Hockey Exchange is the Awards Banquet at 5:30pm at the Merritton Community Centre. 
Please come out and enjoy some hockey and fun times and support this wonderful Friendship that has developed between these two organizations and countries. 
The Bulldogs once again welcome our extended Family and Friends from WSC in Philadelphia to our fine city.
