HELP WANTED

GCMHA is looking for assistance in the administrative office to handle bookkeeping tasks.
Resume should be email to [email protected] no later than Friday November 24, 2017.

Position Description: 

 

The position 

reports to the Administrator and 

requires 12 - 15 hours per month, however, time requirements may be variable, particularly at try-out and registration.

Volunteer position with $250/ month stipend

Enter financial data using Sage 50 Financial software, for example, registration fees, tournament fees

Prepare Cheques for signature??

Prepare financial reports (Year to date, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for monthly Board meetings

Respond in a timely manner to email requests from team officials

Meet regularly with the Board Treasurer, particularly in budget preparation

Meet weekly with the Administrator

 

The successful applicant will have:

Knowledge of bookkeeping as well as generally accepted accounting principles

Bookkeeping training and knowledge of Sage 50 would be considered assets

Criminal/Vulnerable sector Police Check ( cost to obtain this will be reimbursed)
