A good spirited semi finals earlier this morning
Before I begin, a big HELLO to the Grimsby parents who really enjoy this "blog".
A good back and forth game against a tough Grimsby team this morning in the semi finals. After a tough start, being in the box most of the first period, the Warriors responded with improved play in the second and third, and were one shot away from moving onto the finals. Very good to see the Warriors improvements, taking away the middle of the ice and forcing Grimsby to have to dump the puck more. Excellent effort, especially in the third when the game was on the line.
Nothing to upset about all weekend. We played improved hockey and showed that we can compete/beat the better teams in the A loop. We played well throughout the tournament and we should hold our heads up high. The entire coaching staff is extremely proud of our team.
