Hangin Tough
This past Saturday, our JR Falcons were in a tough defensive battle as they hosted the Hespler Shamrocks. The Falcons controlled the natural zone with their tenacious forechecking and using their tough defensive play. Along with timely saves from Goaltender Jimmy Damiano the Falcons held the Shamrocks to a single goal. They were able to capitalize on one of their many chances, with a goal scored by Lucca Mucherelli assisted by Colton Smith. Player of the Game was Rhys McAdam, who showed a fine defensive performance. Tuesday, the St. Catharines Tyke 2 JR Falcons will be back in action meeting up with the Burlington Eagles.
