Angry Birds
The Falcons were in Acton Saturday, to face the Halton Hills Thunder.  It was a game of dueling goalies. The first two periods had end to end action as both goalies put on a show, turning away every shot they faced. The Falcons thought they had broken the tie late in the third period, but the goal from Simon Sciarra was disallowed. Falcons would get on the board a minute later as Player Of The Game  Lucca Mucciarelli would score with assists from Rhys McAdam and Aidan Johnson. 

With just over a minute left in the game the Thunder pulled their goalie and began to fight hard to tie the game. The Falcons thought they added the empty net insurance goal, but again the goal from Simon Sciarra, would be called back. Standing their ground, the Falcons were able to preserve the 1-0 lead and help goalie Jimmy Damiano to his 2nd shut out of the year.
