Minor Atom AA, Atom, 2017-2018, AA/A (Garden City Minor Hockey)

Friday night the Minor Atom AA Falcons travelled to Burlington to face the Eagles and put in one of their best efforts of the year, earning a sound 2-0 win over one of the better teams in the league.

Tuesday night the Falcons made the trip to Halton Hills to take on the Thunder who are undefeated in the playoffs. After finishing the first two periods tied 2-2 the Falcons gave up 5 goals in the third to finish with a disappointing 7-2 loss.

After a win over Guelph to open the playoffs, the Minor Atom AA Falcons dropped their next two games to Burlington and Halton Hills, moving to a 1-2 record after the first three games. 

Thursday night the Falcons started the 2018 Playoffs on the road in Guelph and came up with a solid team effort in a 7-5 win over the Gryphons.

The Falcons played a pair of pre-Chrismas games against Oakville and Flamborough last and, although they dominated each game for a period of time, they gave up a bad period in each of the contests and came away with a pair of losses.
