Coming off a loooong weekend of hockey in FT. Erie, the Falcon's were rewarded with a game in Thorold Monday night.Late may I add...
This was a game that resembled the filming of a bad "Youngblood" sequal to be perfectly honest. Bad hockey generally turns into dirty hockey when a team doesn't skate or use skill to combat a skilled opponent, and this is, in my humble opinion, exactly what we saw last night. too be short and sweet, even though our boy's were tired and sore from the weekend, they played hockey. They skated and kept their respective heads about them as headshots and generally bad, dangerous play abounded. Coming out of that game with a decisive 4-1 win.. Here's hoping that was a one off and when we play that team again the kids safety is paramount with the stripes, as thats where the game is going to be controlled. Heres hoping the couple of players I saw go off the ice are OK and we see you all Wednesday night in a big game with an unbeaten Welland Tiger's squad..
