Grimsby Major Minor Classic
The Falcons competed recently in the Grimsby Major Minor Classic. As is the usual case with Early Bird Tournaments the main focus was on developing players and establishing expectations. While the game results were not the best, the coaches were happy for the most part as we believe it's not winning games at the start of the season that matters, but rather the improvement over the season that is important.
On the score board, the line of Connor B, Adam W and Carter D lead the way. Connor had 2 Goals and 2 Assists, Carter 1 Goal and 3 Assists, and Adam had 2 goals. Ty W chipped in with a goal. Morgan D added 2 Assists while Eric V and Owen B each had single Assists.
The pre-season continues with a pair of exhibition games on September 15th and 16th vs Glanbrook AE's.
