Three Games in Four Days
The Minor Atom AA Falcons played three hard fought games in the course of four days and, although their goaltending and defence was solid, the team had trouble scoring and came out of the three games with one tie and two losses.

On Saturday November 11th the Falcons travelled to Milton for a battle with the Winterhawks.  A good defensive effort was helped by an outstanding game in goal from Cohen Corbett.  The Falcons were down 1-0 with under two minutes left in the game and pulled Corbett for an extra attacker when "Player of the Game" Aidan Johnson scored an unassisted thriller on a breakaway with only four seconds left to play, with the game ending in a 1-1 tie.

The next day, Sunday November 12th, the Falcons returned home for a match with the Orangeville Flyers.  Despite another sound defensive effort and a great performance in goal from "Player of the Game" Anna Corfield who was beaten only once during the game, the Falcons could not come out on top.  Trailing 1-0 with under two minutes left in the game they tried frantically again to tie it up, but the visiting team took advantage this time and scored an empty netter, ending the game at 2-0.

Tuesday November 14th, the team continued at home with a visit from the third place Flamborough Sabres.  The team had a third straight solid defensive effort, bolstered by great games from goalie Cohen Corbett and  "Player of the Game" defenseman Hensley O'Hara.  Down 1-0 in the second period Luca Mucciarelli tied the game up with assists going to Patrick O'Farrell and Rhys McAdam.  Unfortunately that would be all the offense the Falcons would generate and the visiting Sabres would go home with a 2-1 victory.

Next up for the Falcons is a game on the road at the Oakville Rangers Saturday November 18th.
