Weekend Split
The Falcons played a pair of home games on the weekend and came away with two points with a thrilling 1-0 win over the fourth place Caledon Hawks and a tough 3-2 loss against the second place Halton Hills Thunder.

Saturday afternoon saw a solid team defensive effort bolstered by an outstanding shutout performance in goal from Cohen Corbett.  "Player of the Game" Malik Moore would provide the Falcons all the offense they would need on a goal set up with a great pass from Luca Mucciarelli.

On Sunday the team welcomed Halton Hills to town and goalie Anna Corfield gave them a rude welcome with another solid performance in goal.  For the second game in a row, the Falcons put in a great defensive effort, keeping the league's second highest scoring offense to just (three??) goals.  Falcons fans were disappointed late in the game as a Halton Hills player clearly interfered with the goalie prior to their goal, but it counted nonetheless.

"Player of the Game" Alex Caiazza got the Falcons on the board on a goal with assists from Luca Mucciarelli and Alex Thai.  Aidan Johnson would also find the back of the net on a goal with an assist from Sebastian Hayward.  Despite a frantic last minute effort with the extra attacker, the Falcons could not come back to tie the game.

Next up a trip to Burlington, Saturday December 9th.
