Regular Season Game 24: 3-0 Loss vs. Burlington Gold

In a game that the Falcons would like back, we came out strong, pinning Burlington in their zone for the majority of the first period, and well over half of the second period, despite the score being 1-0. Burlington would extend the lead mid-way through the second period, and score a goal in the third as well, to win the game 3-0.
After our hot start in this game where we dominated on the forecheck, we went away from playing aggressive, which lead to the lack of offensive chances in the third period. The Falcons did have a strong defensive structure throughout the game, as we limited Burlington to 18 shots on goal.

The offence showed up for the Falcons tonight, as we were able to score 6 goals tonight vs. Flamborough. A continuous strong forcheck the entire game really helped the Falcons, as we pinned the Sabres deep in their zone numerous times. In addition, the Falcons did have a strong back check which lead to re-gaining the puck in the neutral zone and quick transitions up the ice. Several players really stepped up for the Falcons tonight which lead to one of our strongest efforts in the past month of play.
