The Falcons came out flying, scoring in the first minute of the game, when Qasim scored after a nice set up by Evan. The Falcons outshot the Warriors 10-4 in the first period, controlling the pace of play throughout the period. In the second period, Dom was able to tap in a power play goal after Evan was able to get the puck to the front of the net. Kian would then score later in the second period on a shot from the point, after a nice pass from Qasim. In the third period, the Falcons would continue to pour shots on the Warriors goalie, who played well, stopping 37/40 Falcons shots. Jackie made 13 saves for the shutout for the Falcons. The Falcons could have played better, as we didn't hammer home some goals that we should have. Our defence group tried out new pairings and played well throughout the game, often times making a good first pass so we could begin our breakout.
