Playoffs Game 1 vs. Grimsby
A 3 to 3 tie in what should have been a victory....
The Jr Falcons played pretty well tonight, scoring the first 2 goals of the game tonight, both from Adam W. However, Grimsby stormed back, scoring 3 straight to take a lead. Adam W was able to complete the hatrick to tie the game up in the second. After the Falcons continued to dominate the Grimsby team, they were unable to break the tie and settled for a 3-3 score.
Despite outshooting the grimsby Peace Kings 39-19, the 5 minute break the Falcons took at the beginning of the second period proved costly. If we had played the same the entire game, there is no doubt we would have walked away with the 2 points.
