Game 23 vs. Glanbrook
The Falcons were able to survive a slow start, scoring in the second period to skate to a 1-1 tie after 2 periods. However, very sloppy play both on the power play (gave up 2 short goals while on the power play) and the penalty kill (2 goals against while short handed) lead to the Rangers skating off to a 4-1 victory. Although the shots were lopsided in Glanbrook's favour, the possession time was relatively close, especially during the 5 on 5 play. The issue in this loss was a lack of presence controlling attacking puck carriers. Excellent game in goal from Adam A in goal.

Game 24 vs. Welland
The new look Falcons started out with a 2-0 lead early in the first period, before falling behind 3-2. However, a quick goal from Connor B tied the game up at 3 mid way through the third period. However, the next 4 goals were scored by Welland, as we were unable to A) capitalize on all of our scoring chances and power play and B) failing to once again slow down attacking players. We did score late, with Eric burying a goal off of good work on the power play from Ben A and Colton, and were able to continue to generate chances, however ran into a strong goalie in Welland. Tonight, our power play went 1/5 despite getting some good puck movement during our setup. The Falcons were also able to generate a lot more shots tonight, however need to continue to work on stronger defensive play, as we scrambled around in our end as a 5 man group.
