Retro jersey night brought out some of the old Jr Falcons play...
After a good back and forth first period, with the Falcons playing extremely well positionally, the Falcons were tied with the Blackhawks at 0 heading into the 2nd. However, goals from Morgan and Eric a minute apart would give the Falcons a 2-0 lead, which was all they needed as the Jr Falcons skated to a 2-1 victory.
Excellent game in goal from Adam, making several key saves, especially while we were short handed. Excellent positional play from our forwards tonight, who generated several high quality scoring chances, along with a very aggressive forecheck. However, the stand outs tonight were the 6 players who played D, all playing a very strong game. Our defense group did everything the coaches have been asking of them, and it really showed tonight.
